Heeeeeeere's BB King
! BB is a chihuahua mix who was on death row for no other reason than he is scared to death of everyone and everything. This poor boy was shaking so badly when I went to meet him that his teeth were chattering. Now this doesn't mean that BB doesn't have love to give. In the short time he has been at The Dog Spot he has fallen in love with several of the staff and is happy to show off his full and very happy personality with them. Once BB knows you and trusts you, he loves you with every fiber in his body. He is a very funny boy who loves to be held or go for long walks in the park. We have not had BB neutered yet because we wanted to make sure he found some courage before we dropped him off with strangers for a surgery. He will be neutered shortly and updated on all of his vaccines. As soon as he is ready to go...we will let you know!
This lovely lady is Cleo
. She is the unfortunate victim of what we call a "stupid owner" syndrome. She was found wandering on Hwy 78 and taken in. The person that took her in had her spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for h/w. She was accepted as part of the family until she acted like a dog. Then, she was dumped at The Dog Spot. It is not our policy to take in owner give-ups but we just couldn't resist Miss Cleo. She is so sweet and fun (a little shy at first)! Cleo is a bull terrier/malinois X (we think) and she is friendly with both humans and other dogs. She has started her training classes and is doing very well at all of her obedience. We recommend Cleo go to any home unless you have a pushy large female dog already. Cleo is none of that but if she gets pushed too far, she will retaliate (which is why she was given up). The solution? Don't leave her unattended with a pushy large female dog. Cleo is crate trained so she is perfectly happy hanging out in one while her people are out of the house. This beautiful lady will make someone a wonderful companion and friend. If you like active, fun dogs and have room in your home for a beautiful lady, call us at 678-475-7100 to inquire about Cleo.
This is Fenway
. He is a pug mix who has a ton of personality. No young children for this boy though. He has a history of not appreciating their fast movements and erratic behaviors. Fenway needs a family who will work with him on his obedience and give him structure so he feels safe and secure. This fun dog does some very funny things like yodeling instead of barking and burying himself under his blankets. Fenway likes other dogs and is a very friendly and happy little dude. If you are looking for a funny and active fuzzy friend, check out Fenway. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, h/w negative, current on h/w prevention, crate trained, and ready for his furever home. Please call The Dog Spot at 678-475-7100 if you are interested in adopting Fenway.
Look at Peaches
dance. She is a 1 y.o. chi/dachshund mix with a lot of personality. She is pretty good with other dogs but she can be a bit bossy at times. She loves to cuddle and will occupy your lap as long as you will let her. Peaches is spayed, current on vaccines, h/w negative, and current on h/w prevention. She is also crate trained.
If you have room in your heart for Peaches, please call The Dog Spot at 678-475-7100.
Look at Prince
! This boy is a love! He is an adult Olde English Bulldog who does not act his age. In fact, not acting his age is what got him hurt. Prince is currently nursing a knee injury he acquired while chasing a fuzzy ball down the hallway. Prince loves playing fetch and running after fuzzy things. He also loves cuddling and belly rubs. Prince is dog aggressive so he must go to a home with no other pets. That however, is where is aggression stops. He absolutely adores people and loves to spend time with anyone that will give him attention. Keep Prince in your thoughts as he is on medical hold until his knee heals but once he is better, he would love to find his furever, loving home.
is a little corgi mix. She gets along with other dogs and is also good with kids. Tea is a sweet and quiet dog who will fit into any home. She is spayed, current on vaccines, and tested h/w positive. She has been on the slow-kill method for her h/w's for about a year so she will probably test negative at her next appointment. Yea!!! Tea is housetrained, crate trained, and ready for her furever home. If you would interested in Tea, please call The Dog Spot at 678-475-7100.
