(The following testimonial is in regards to a conversation I had with a private training client on "over-training". This client has put everything she has into her dog and reached a point where the dog was shutting down on walks. I recommended increasing the fun and not making every walk a "training" session. This does NOT mean she has stopped training. Simba has learned what do to on walks so ongoing "training" was frustrating him. He needed MORE fun and freedom to show off his new skill)

So, I am telling you yesterday how frustrated I am with Simba (i.e. I am so frustrated I do not
know what to do) and I realize that he needs some good solid exercise
and fun thanks to your guidance. I adore this pup soooooooooo much.
Well,
he must have heard us talking (and got the message on some level)
because this morning, and to some degree last night, I just said to
myself I am simply going to take Simba for a walk (not a training
session) and did not use the clicker once.
I
took him this morning up and down our street, then proceeded down
Suwanee Dam to the next entrance of our subdivision, behind the pool and
through the trails to the back of our house. What a lovely experience. I
am so excited. This was the longest walk we had ever done together
since he was a baby. He did very well over all and I am feeling very
hopeful this morning.
Thank you, thank you, thank you from the both of us.

AWESOME!
I LOVE THIS PLACE. My dogs love it even more though! I have two very high energy boxers and their favorite days are doggie daycare days. They come home completely wiped out and sleep like rocks. I recommend Joyce and The Dog Spot all the time. Joyce is also a phenomenal trainer that works miracles with dogs. She loves them all so much that you feel like they are with family. You have got to give them a try!

My Tibetan Spaniel Georgie attends doggie day care at The Dog Spot 5 days a week . Joyce and her staff are AWESOME and very special people! They are professional, kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable! Georgie has never been happier and can't wait to see Joyce, her staff, and his many dog-friends each morning. We will be attending our first Basic Obedience Class at The Dog Spot, too! Not only does The Dog Spot offer Doggie Daycare and training, but they also offer boarding. For the first time ever, I have piece of mind when I go away that my "baby" is in the best possible care and having a blast! I would never leave Georgie anywhere but The Dog Spot - A great big "Thank You" to Joyce and her staff for the excellent care they continually give Georgie and all their other "guests". Just Plain Awesome!
We recently adopted an Aussie and had to go out of town for few days. It was really nice to know that while we were away she was in the good hands of Joyce and her staff at The Dog Spot. We also use Joyce as a dog therapist with our rescue, and have been amazed at how she has been able to help us with her. We also use the doggie day care services and our dog looks forward to her visit every time. We would highly recommend Joyce, her staff and any of the services offered at The Dog Spot.

Awesome Place!
We love The Dog Spot! We have 3 high energy boxers who are very well taken care of, loved, and they are given a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. We recently boarded them for 2 weeks and it was nice to not have to worry about them. Joyce, Tammy and all the people at The Dog Spot are wonderful and we're thankful to have found them. Charkie had another stay recently and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the service you provide. It seemed every time we got her back from the Vet after a stay something would be wrong. Hot spot, chewing on herself out of boredom, etc... It seemed she was just put in a box and let out to go to the bathroom. However, the boxes had a grate floor with a poop tray so even going out was not a requirement. We have not had any issues when we get her back from your place. We can tell that she is happy. We can tell by talking to your staff and seeing how they treat the other dogs that they really care. There really is no comparison between your place and stay with the Vet. It's like the difference between going to the hospital (Vet) and going on a vacation (Your Place). I hope your business is doing well. I have told everyone I know about it and I have told them about your coupon/ad in the MTM Shopper. We are happy customers.

Most Professional !!
The Dog Spot is the most professional dog day care, boarding and
training classes. I have used all three of these services for my Boston Terrier/Pug mix and she loves it . Her behavior has improved too. The
prices are very reasonable.

Happy Boarding
The Dog Spot is the best place we
have ever boarded our dog. When we made an unannounced visit we knew
The Dog Spot was the perfect fit for our Sosha. The place is clean and
cheerful and the staff is warm and welcoming. Our plane was late so we
asked Tammy to stay late so we could get Sosha and she was happy to
accommodate us. Sosha had a great time.and we were unstressed because we
were confident she was being cared for . These are people who truly
love dogs. Sosha will be back to stay with her friends.

Great for Senior Dogs Too!
The Dog Spot is a blessing for us.
We have 2 Sheltie puppies and 1 very old Sheltie. You can imagine they
have different needs! Annie, our 14 year old, was treated like a Queen,
a very old Queen, and they gave her a special place to do what she
loves to do-sleep! Without puppies bothering her she was in doggie
heaven. Mac and Fiona our 2 puppies were able to do what they do
best-run and play, run and play. . .etc. My favorite part was the
baths; when our vacation was over (sadly) we pick up 3 clean, sweet
smelling, and happy dogs! Yes we will be going to Dog Spot again!

Great Place For Our Daisy
The Dog Spot is a great place that we
fill safe to leave Daisy our German Shepard who is 4 months old. We
have left her there during the week when we both work days and this past
week we went on vacation for 8 days and when we called to see how Daisy
was they said she was doing great. We arrived back home on the 19th
June and Daisy was in good spirit and looking good. They played with
her and feed her and they even gave her a bath with the deal. Daisy was
in good spirit. Were very happy to have such good company with the Dog
Spot family. They r very friendly and supportive.

My Dog's second home
The Dog Spot is wonderful. One of our
dogs attends daycare there regularly and both of our dogs board when we
are on vacation. Joyce is absolutely amazing with dogs and treats ours
like they are her own. We are so lucky to have found first Joyce as our
dog trainer and then her daycare. Without her help tiring out my puppy,

Spoil Your Dog! Send Them to The Dog Spot!
The Dog Spot is a great place to
spoil your dogs! My dogs love visiting and staying overnight when we
have to be out of town. The staff are always friendly and professional
and the owner, Joyce, really knows how to run a business! She loves
dogs and it shows! I never lose an ounce of sleep knowing my dogs are
running around at The Dog Spot! The fact that they have an open
facility is one of the biggest reasons I take my dogs there. They get
to socialize, run and play, and just have a great time together! Don't
hesitate to take your pets to Joyce and the gang! They'll love your
dogs as if they are their own!

The Dog Spot is a very well run
facility. My dogs had an excellent time during their visits. One of my
dogs is timid but when we showed up to The Dog Spot she jumped out of
the vehicle and went straight to the door. I'm a little timid of
boarding but Joyce and her crew gained my trust and I felt my dogs loved
it also. The self-serve dog wash is a very good tool to use. All of
the needed supplies are at your finger tips and the height of the bath
basin is perfect. GREAT JOB JOYCE and CREW!! We will be back. Baby &
