Group Dog Training Classes

A well-behaved dog is a happy dog.

Joyce Keeton, CBC (Certified Canine Behavior Counselor) has been working with dogs for

close to 25 years. Joyce is

also a Certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She

has been providing obedience training and behavior counseling/modification

in the Loganville area for 5 years and is now offering her services at The Dog Spot. Joyce owns a pet hotel called Pets In Paradise Resort & Hotel in Lutz, FL as well. She also owned a successful training business there. Joyce is active in the Atlanta Bulldog Club and Rescue, BLISS Rescue of Loganville, and is a Board Member for English Bulldog Rescue of GA. Joyce received her education in dog behavior from The American Institute for Animal Sciences. Her specialty is working with dogs with mild to severe behavior problems. She loves seeing the progress that can be made once the lines of communication open up between dog and human. Joyce's techniques emphasize the use of positive reinforcement. Joyce's training philosophy is that there are no bad dogs...just bad information, poor communication, and lack of understanding. Many training programs center around shutting down behaviors rather than teaching new behaviors. Joyce wants everyone to understand how dogs think and learn so that the myths about dog training can be exposed. She uses positive reinforcement as the foundation for her training and teaches her clients how to effectively communicate what they want to their dogs.

Private Consultations

In-Home $85.00/hr

Joyce will work with you and your pup in the privacy of your own home. Some behavior problems must be worked on in the home prior to attending classes or working outside the home. Call Joyce to discuss.

In-Office $75.00/hr
