Beginning in 2027, Playcare availability will be capacity-based, so booking ahead is strongly recommended to ensure your dog’s spot.

Yes. All dogs must complete an initial assessment (Meet & Greet) before being cleared for any services at The Dog Spot. This allows our team to ensure staff safety, group compatibility, and that your dog feels comfortable and confident with our play rotations and daily operations. Yes, all intact dogs are welcome in our facility. We also have NO breed restrictions

Dogs are grouped by size and temperament, Our Playgroups: CHILLS, HYPERS, S-3 (Seniors, Sensitive, Shy), PUPS, or SOLO for independent adventurers who prefer their own space. Our trained staff continually monitor interactions and may rotate dogs within their group throughout the day (except SOLO dogs) to ensure safe, positive, and balanced play for everyone.

We closely monitor all dogs throughout the day. If a dog shows signs of fatigue or overstimulation, they are given a break or one-on-one decompression as needed. All dogs also participate in a mandatory daily nap time from 12–2 PM, allowing them to reset and recharge. If needed, your dog may be moved to a different playgroup to ensure a safe, positive, and balanced experience.

Not every dog enjoys group play—and that’s okay. If Playcare isn’t the best fit, we’ll discuss alternative options such as SOLO rotations, Enrichments, or Training services that better match your dog’s needs. If your dog enjoys being around other dogs but needs help understanding or respecting group play, ask our staff about Buddy Boost Camp, designed to build healthy dog-to-dog communication and social skills.

We understand that delays happen, and our priority is always your dog’s comfort and safety. Parents receive a 10-minute grace period after closing, with the latest pick-up time being 7:10 PM. As a courtesy, we will send a text message at 6:30 PM if your dog has not yet been picked up. If we do not receive a response or call back, your dog will be settled comfortably for overnight boarding. Please note that in this case, Parents will be billed for the basic overnight boarding stay until pick-up.

Full Day Playcare ($25) - your pup stays for BOTH shifts of the day. Half Day Playcare ($20) - your pup stays for EITHER the AM or PM shift. (your pup must be picked up during the same shift as drop off)

No. Packages apply toward FULL Playcare days only.

Playcare packages never expire and are only used once your pup is physically checked in.                 They are non-refundable.

Playcare packages may be used for multiple dogs listed under the same owner account. Packages are non-transferable to other owner accounts. In the event of a verified ownership change, remaining credits will follow the dog upon official account update.

Enrichment activities are available as an add-on and may be scheduled during any type of visit. A maximum of two (2) enrichment sessions per dog / per day applies. You may purchase an Enrichment Package of (10 for $80), which can be used on any days you choose to add Enrichment and never expires. Bark-Tastic Members receive one FREE weekly Enrichment.

Yes. Playcare packages provide savings on playcare visits, while the monthly membership offers added perks such as included enrichment and boarding value. Parents can purchase all Packages and Memberships through our GINGR App, where you can also manage scheduling, credits, and account updates in one convenient place. Packages and memberships may also be purchased in the lobby at drop-off or pick-up if you prefer in-person assistance.
